Áine Brady recently visited CPC to meet 4A. Áine is a Minister of State at the Departments of Health, Environment and Social Protection.
She has been doing this job for the last year, and has been a TD since being elected in the 2007 General Election. Her two brothers, Michael and Tom Kitt, are also sitting TDs at the moment.
The Minister outlined the work involved in being a national politician. It was a very interesting and educational experience for the students as the asked a lot of questions and the Minister provided them with a lot of information. The students also provided suggestions for the Minister on issues such as smoking and healthy eating amongst young people.
