Francis Bacon at the Hugh Lane Art Gallery
A cohort of art students went to the Hugh Lane Gallery to see a showcase of some of Francis Bacon’s famous works. The Gallery also housed a very interesting exact replica of Bacon’s studio. The day began with a tour of the exhibition. It included photographs from his childhood, his well-known works and his infamous slashed canvasses. The tour ended with a workshop aimed at bringing out our more creative sides. I think I speak for all present when I say that it was a very interesting and enjoyable experience that I would love to do again.
