Electrical Goods Can Be Recycled in School This Week

In partnership with WEEE Ireland 4C are organising a collection of old small electrical items and will send them for recycling. Recycling saves on natural resources and on energy. Up to 95% of the material in an old electrical appliance can be recycled.

So this week you can bring your old small electrical items to the school and help make them new again. Examples of items which can be recycled include small radios, mobile phones, hand held tools, walkmans, hair dryers, video consoles, playstations, irons, old remote controls, electric razors, torches, toasters.

4C will collect the items during the first class each day during this week (Monday October 19th to 23rd.
