Some pictures from the recent Boys U-13 Soccer matches versus PBS Newbridge and Portlaoise. This was a much improved performance after the Portlaoise game. The lads rallied to the call of Coach Lawless and pulled out all the stops in their efforts to overcome a strong PBS outfit. CPC took an early lead when a probing corner from Owen Farrell eventually found the back of the net. The game was nip and tuck after that with both sides coming close before PBS equalised. We then regained the lead with a well-taken Najeem Afolabi goal but PBS managed to level it again. An excellent team performance with special mention also to Daragh Nolan, Aaron Keon, Dan Lawrence, Jack Dooley, Adam Talbot. Others who played well were Josh Haughton, Alex Mc Donnell, Eoghan Duggan, Jordan Myles, Luke Reissig-Dowling and Darren Gilheany.
Against Portlaoise, where we came second.
