Following on from the LCVP tour of Nolan's Butchers, James Nolan and Sonia Treacy visited CPC to talk to the students about Organ Donor Awareness. James has set up a charity called Punchestown Kidney Research Fund (PKRF)which so far has raised €1.1 million. This money goes into research and helping people with kidney difficulties. It was an inspiring experience for the students and a huge learning opportunity wherein they got to ask lots of questions. We were very fortunate to learn so much about business and social enterprise. A big thank you to James and Sonia for providing this opportunity.
