4A Welcome Tony O'Donnell (Kildare County Council)

The youngest member of Kildare County Council, Tony O'Donnell recently visited CPC to speak to 4A as part of their Economic module. Tony explained how he got involved in politics and how he would like to see politics change. The students asked questions about the role of a local politician and there was also a discussion about national politics. It was a really worthwhile learning experience for the students. Tony spoke very clearly about lots of interesting issues and it was heartening to meet a young man with a vision of Ireland's future who has got involved in politics to make a real change. Tony called into our school despite being a very busy man and was heading to NUI Galway after our visit. A big thank you to Tony for calling in to talk to us.
