Local County Councillor Darren Scully Visits CPC

Darren Scully recently visited our school to talk to 4D as part of the TY Economics module. It was an opportunity for the students to learn about local politics. Darren is busy campaigning at the moment for the upcoming General Election. He also ran for the Dáil in 2007 in the North Kildare constituency. The students learned about the importance of having an interest in politics and Darren encouraged the class to get involved in public life.

It was a pleasure to welcome back Darren, a past pupil, to CPC.
