Leading Economist visits CPC

The 6th Year Economics students recently welcomed leading academic Joe Durkan to our school. Joe spoke to the class about studying economics at third level and gave the students an insight into life at university.
It was a fabulous learning opportunity for the class to meet and talk to such an eminent economist. Joe is a Lecturer in Economics in UCD and a frequent contributer to the media. His talk informed them about the current economic situation - how it arose and how the country might get out of it.
A big thank you to Joe for travelling from Dublin to speak to the class.
