4B visit D.K. Weld's stables

As part of their TY Equine Studies module, 4B recently went on a trip to the Curragh to meet Mr. Dermot Weld at his yard. Having been introduced and given a brief tour, it was off to the training grounds where we witnessed the horses at exercise on the gallops. Mr. Weld answered the many questions put to him and it was a wonderful opportunity to learn from a master of his profession. Mr. Weld has enjoyed worldwide success during a long and distinguished training career. It was a thoroughly enjoyable visit and we'd like to thank Mr. Weld for taking the time to do it for us.
