Poet Steve Murray facilitated four workshops for Transition Year students. Students had the opportunity to create their own poetry and were surprised to discover talents they didn’t know they had. Steve works in a very energetic, inspiring way and really helped the students to feel confident in delivering their poems. After two days of very interesting work, students came together for the ‘Poetry Slam’ where they had the opportunity to perform. There was great applause for the many excellent poems shared.
