The 5th Year LCVP class were given the opportunity to be interviewed for a job of their choice. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students and it will serve them well in the years ahead. Martin Harrell (Head of Racecourse Betting, Tote Ireland) and Mrs O’Neill carried out the interviews and provided the students with useful feedback on their performance. Martin is an expert in the area of Human Resource Management and has already worked with the students about CV presentation. A great deal of thanks must go to Martin for taking time out of a busy schedule to visit our school. Thanks also to Mrs O’Neill for her valuable input into this process.
This marked the end of what has been a year of great learning experiences for the 5th Year LCVP class. As the teacher of the class Mr. Dowling would like to once again thank all those who assisted the LCVP class by visiting the school or by allowing the class to visit them. We are very fortunate to have had a very high calibre of people working with us throughout the year.
