Theft A Great Success
There was a full house at the opening night of Kilcullen Drama Group's opening night of their latest production Theft by Eric Chappell. Parents, pupils, teachers, and people from the community were treated to a most enjoyable evening's entertainment starting with a cheese and wine reception. This was organised by Transition Year students with help from the parents association. Maurice O'Mahony on behalf of the Drama Group welcomed all present and Glenda Groome thanked the group and all in attendance for donating the proceedings from the evening to the school. The proceeds will be used to help provide lighting in the assembly hall in the school for use in Transition Year Musicals and other productions. As Miss Groome said it was fitting that the local drama group were helping students in the school in their dramatic endeavours. The cast in the play were Bernard Berney, Fergal Sloan, Philomena Breslin, Esther Dooley and Vivian Clarke.
