Theft to Provide Funds for Transition Year

There is no doubt about it. The education cutbacks have resulted in a major loss of funding for Cross and Passion College. But who would have thought that in an effort to replace some of the missing funds we would resort to Theft? But it's not quite as bad as it sounds. Theft, you see, is the brilliant play which is being staged by Kilcullen Drama Group starting on November 4th next in Kilcullen Town Hall and the group has generously agreed to donate the proceedings of the opening Gala Night to Cross and Passion College. Tickets for the performance cost €15 and this includes a cheese and wine reception at 7.30. The play is a comedy by Eric Chappell which has particular relevance to these recessionary times. If you have not been to a play in the Town Hall you are in for a treat - Kilcullen Drama Group has a long tradition of putting on excellent and most enjoyable productions and the facilities in the town hall have to be seen and experienced to fully appreciate how good a venue it is. Definitely a night not to be missed.
