On 15th October as part of our Equine Studies course, Kevin O’ Ryan came in to talk to 4B about his work. He is a TV pundit on “AtTheRaces”.
He also works as a jockey’s agent. He spoke to us about what’s involved in this job. He told us that he is agent for Pat Smullen, Declan McDonagh and the upcoming champion apprentice Gary Carroll and others.
He also pre-trains young horses at his own stables.
We really enjoyed his visit and we’d like to thank Kevin for his time.
