Ref Food Goes Down Well

The new food service in the school refectory has received a warm welcome from students. Prepared in a specially equipped unit at the Link Business Park in Kilcullen the food is brought directly to the school where it is served to students. At break time fresh scones, juices and hot chocolate are on offer. At lunch time there is one hot meal available, as well as soup, wraps and rolls. A considerable amount of work has been carried out in the refectory to bring it up to a suitable standard for serving the food. The project is pilot one and its continuation in the long term will depend on how much use students make of it. If the first week is anything to go by it should have a secure future.
