4C meet Mr. Martin Harrell

4C recently enjoyed the visit of Mr. Martin Harrell (Head of Racecourse Betting, Tote Ireland) to talk to them about Human Resource Management (HRM). Mr Harrell explained the importance of recruitment, training and other aspects of HRM. He gave them an outline of the work of Tote Ireland and it's important role in funding the equestrian industry. By way of doing this, he illustrated the history of the Tote and how it evolved to what it is today. All in all this was a very educational experience, both informative and enjoyable and 4C would like to thank Mr Harrell for his presentation.
