LCVP Guest Speaker Padraic Deasy

On the 12th March Padraic Deasy came to speak to the 5th Year LCVP class. He was invited in as a local businessman to give an talk on enterprise, an important area of the LCVP course that focuses on such things as innovation, creativity, marketing and research. Padraic, himself a past pupil of Cross and Passion College, runs deasyphotographic, has a boutique studio in Newbridge and is one of Ireland’s top photographers. Padraic's talk was very informative. We learned about his background, about starting up a business and how he comes up with fresh ideas for his photographs. Of all the things we learned that day, the main thing that stayed with me and the rest of the class was “To do whatever you want to do in life, do it to the best of your ability, keep focused and don’t let anyone knock you down. With that attitude, anything is possible”.
