Work Begins on Access Project

Work commenced today on the second phase of the Access Project in CPC. Central to the project is the construction of a lift shaft and the provision of a lift to allow access to the second and third floor in the older part of the building. Ramps will also be provided throughout the building in areas where steps currently impede access. The construction work will necessitate some disruption of movement into and out of the school grounds as well as within the existing building, but it is hoped to keep this to a minimum. Work will continue right up to the summer holidays. The contractors for the project are Weslin Construction.
