Every year a 5th year LCVP class organises a 1st and 2nd year disco to raise money for a charity of their choice. This year our LCVP class organised the disco to help cover the cost of the 4th year musical show. The class was divided into groups, each group chose jobs that suited them for the setting up of the disco. The jobs were to ask permission from the Principal, ask teachers if they could supervise the disco, informing the 1st and 2nd Year Heads, preparing the tuck shop, getting a DJ, putting up the decorations and taking care of the financial side. The disco was a great experience for us and the 1st and 2nd years thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was an interesting first time experience which we learned from and developed our skills and we were delighted to raise some money.
