6th Year Students Entertain Local Senior Citizens
A great tradition was upheld on Wednesday last December 17th. The annual Senior Citizens party, which has been held in Cross and Passion College for the past 16 years, turned out to be a wonderful night for all. There was a great turn out and guests were greeted by cheerful students and teachers and the evening got off to a great start. The entertainment began with Christmas songs performed by students. The songs soon became the old favourites and before long the guests themselves got up to sing and provide the entertainment for the hosts which was a real treat. Food and drink was plentiful throughout the night and there were raffle with plenty of prizes to be won. Guests were free to chat among themselves and many decided to get up and dance which added even more fun to the night. There was an amazing atmosphere present and it was clear that everyone was enjoying themselves. I’m sure the students next year and the senior citizens who attend will thoroughly enjoy this party as much as we did. It’s the Christmas social event not to be missed. On behalf of the students of CPC we would like to thank everyone who attended the event.
